Breaking down the way of networking!
Purpose:
Instead of presentations, uncomfortable taglines and intros. We want to deconstruct the entire experience of networking and make sure your experiences whether good or bad are being heard and being able to communicate what you struggle with.
As a group we would work them out together to create a stronger relationships, deeper understanding & potential partners. Celebrating our wins through the art of hardships.
Work Our Network Benefits
Networking is a challenging skill to learn and when you add in all the other stuff entrepreneurs have to do networking moves to the bottom of the list. However networking is the single best solution to getting advice from peers.
Work Our Network is designed to to accomplish at least two thing on your list (yes, there are four things listed below):
Network with business peers.
Learn from others through pre-planned discussion groups.
And if you are in the Huntley, Crystal Lake, Lake in the Hills, Algonquin, and other immediate surrounding areas then this networking group is for you!
Provide a safe place for business owners to sit for a second and reflect on next steps.
All business interested people are welcome.
Each month there is, will be, a specific skill/topic to discuss.

Introducing Adam J. San Juan to Work Our Network
Adam is not just an accomplished author who has written two insightful books; he is also a well-respected financial guru and a dedicated publisher. Additionally, he serves as the managing director of a retirement plan, where he passionately helps clients secure their financial futures. Every day, Adam commits to enriching his knowledge by reading for at least 30 minutes, a habit he values tremendously.
Beyond his professional achievements, Adam takes immense pride in being a loving father of two, a devoted husband, a proud grandfather, and a caring dog owner. But you would think that was all there was to him; however, Adam also has a deep-seated passion for woodworking and is enthusiastic about ensuring that both families and businesses receive the care and attention they deserve.
Meet the team
Nothing happens without an idea, nothing continues without drive. Work Our Network started as four individuals having coffee in the same town and the same restaurant.
What came of that meeting was a desire to bring a little something different to business professionals in our area. Our goals for Work Our Network isn’t a referral group and we are not a networking group. Although those things can happen at our meetings.
Instead, we liken ourselves to the show Cheers, where everyone knows your name. Some nights we might meet at a local business and share some drinks and discuss some common and not-so-common problems. Some nights we might meet for more of a workshop to grab some skills while grabbing a coffee. Other nights still we may venture out to support a local establishment.
All in a manner to support our main objective, support local businesses while being close to home. No need to go into the big city to level up your profession when McHenry County has so much to offer. With roughly 8,000 businesses in McHenry County plus our neighboring Counties there is plenty of business to go around.

Join us for 1 - 1 1/2 hours of networking with local professionals. The networking group is more like a focus group that trouble shoots our ideas, businesses, process, and practices. All while learning and connecting with locals. Starting The Voyage - Work Our Network
A large part of entrepreneurship is looking for answers and looking for money. Work Our Network is a designed space for networking past just meeting other locals, it’s a place to explore the roadblocks to success. A networking group designed for the Huntley area businesses however all are welcome.
